This region is largely covered by subtropical forest, with a wide range of flora and fauna..This humid and verdant area of north-east Argentina comprising the provinces of Misiones, Entre Rios and Corrientes. The landscape and its characteristics are dominated by three rivers, the Paraná, the Uruguay and the Corriente Rivers.

This unique area is largely covered by subtropical forest, with a wide range of flora and fauna is home of the finest Golden Dorado fishing in Argentina. The extended Delta formed by the Corriente River and the majestic Paraná River, guaranties the most diverse waters where Dorados thrive.  The Town Founded in 1806 by Spanish explorers, was destroyed in 1839 during national civil war. In 1846 it was finally founded, based on its strategic location and importance of its port, nexus between the remote northern area of the Paraná and Buenos Aires. Today, the economy relays on agriculture, forestry and tourism. Its streets remain similar to colonial times, shaded by native trees, that provide the perfect scenery for relax.
